This administration agreement meant the complete management of its student housing that wasn\u2019t yet built. This innovative project, at the time, represented a milestone in Qu\u00e9bec. Indeed, for the first time ever, a university had entrusted to a private company the management of a large real estate project, pursuant to an outsourcing agreement. Ever since, Sentinel has developed a specific and unique action plan for student housing.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Sentinel<\/strong> is attentive to the needs of the students. Our team knows that the student\u2019s housing are much more than a mere housing service, and that they represent a true living environment and a springboard for the youth. Indeed, beyond a simple housing situation, relationships and friendships are created, which are crucial to success in academic studies.<\/p>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t<!-- Second Block Image -->\n\t\t\t<figure class=\"content-wrapper\">\n\t\t\t\t<img \n\t\t\t\talt=\"\" \n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tsrc=\"https:\/\/www.sentinel.qc.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/residence-UQAM.jpg\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/figure>\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\n\t<\/div>\n\t\n<\/section>\n\n\n<section id=\"two-column-layoutblock_5fb73455c619d\" class=\"b-two-column-layout content-left\">\n\t\n\t<div class=\"b-two-column-layout__inner\">\n\t\t\n\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t<!-- First Block Image -->\n\t\t\t<figure class=\"content-wrapper\">\n\t\t\t\t<img \n\t\t\t\talt=\"\"\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tsrc=\"https:\/\/www.sentinel.qc.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/services-residence.jpg\"> \n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/figure>\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t<!-- Second Block Text -->\n\t\t\t<div class=\"text-wrapper\">\t\n\t\t\t\t<p>Our staff, which carries our ever-increasing desire for innovation, has therefore created from scratch a service in line with the expectations of students:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Hiring of resident assistant on each floor to facilitate the integration of freshmen students<\/span><\/li>\n<li>Support and help line for students in need<\/span><\/li>\n<li>Conciliation and mediation between residents<\/span><\/li>\n<li>Creation of a Social Activities Committee (special evenings, gatherings and in-residence activities)<\/span><\/li>\n<li>Implementation of a significant student employment network within our organization<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\n\t<\/div>\n\t\n<\/section>\n\n\n<section id=\"two-column-layoutblock_5fb73466c619e\" class=\"b-two-column-layout content-right\">\n\t\n\t<div class=\"b-two-column-layout__inner\">\n\t\t\n\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t<!-- First Block Text -->\n\t\t\t<div class=\"text-wrapper\">\t\n\t\t\t\t<p>As mentioned above, the creation of a student division within <strong>Sentinel<\/strong> represents a first-rate competitive advantage for the company. Indeed, several students work at various positions within the company. They take advantage of the existing system to hold down wage-earning employment while gaining significant work experience that will be useful for them in the future. This partnership is therefore beneficial to all involved.<\/p>\n<p>The success of the UQAM Student Housing project represents an achievement in which we take great pride.
